Foreclosure Help
If you are in foreclosure and need legal assistance, call the New York State Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Program at 800-342-3661 to locate an attorney in your area. If you cannot afford a lawyer and need to locate free legal services providers in your area, click on this link: www.lawhelp.org/ny/
Loan Modification Help
If you want a loan modification or refinance under the national mortgage settlement, contact your servicer to see if you are eligible:

Complaints Help
If you have a complaint about how your servicer is treating you, you may:

Settlement Compensation Help
The Settlement Administrator has made payments to most eligible borrowers. The Office of Mortgage Settlement Oversight is not the Settlement Administrator and does not handle or oversee direct payments to consumers within the settlement. If you have questions about your eligibility or compensation under the settlement, please call the Settlement Administrator toll-free at 1-866-430-8358.
Scam Help
