NMS Monitor: SunTrust Passes All Metrics Tests
Joseph Smith reports on SunTrust’s consumer compliance results

RALEIGH, N.C. – Joseph A. Smith, Jr., Monitor of the National Mortgage Settlement (NMS), reported today that SunTrust did not fail any compliance metrics tested during the second half of 2017.

SunTrust previously failed Metric 4. The Monitor determined the servicer completed and implemented its remediation plan in May 2018.

“SunTrust continues to make progress under the NMS,” said Smith. “I will continue to monitor SunTrust’s consumer compliance obligations and will report my findings to the Court and the public on the final testing period in the future.”
