Foreclosure Help

If you are in foreclosure or at risk of default, contact the following:

Loan Modification Help

If you want to find out if you are eligible for a loan modification or refinance under the national mortgage settlement, contact your servicer:

Settlement Compensation Help

The Settlement Administrator has made payments to most eligible borrowers. The Office of Mortgage Settlement Oversight is not the Settlement Administrator and does not handle or oversee direct payments to consumers within the settlement. If you have questions about your eligibility or compensation under the settlement, please call the Settlement Administrator toll-free at 1-866-430-8358.

Scam Help

If you have been scammed by a foreclosure rescue operator or a debt relief organization, contact the Alaska Department of Law’s Consumer Protection Unit or the Federal Trade Commission, www.FTC.gov.

Tenant Help

If you are a tenant who lives in residence that was foreclosed upon, you can contact Alaska Legal Services: 907-272-9431 or, toll free, 888-478-2572.

Military Help
