Depending on your situation, there are different organizations that may be able to help you.

Foreclosure Help

If you are in foreclosure or at risk of default, contact the following:

Loan Modification Help

If you want a loan modification or refinance under the national mortgage settlement, contact your servicer:

• Ally/GMAC: 800-766-4622

• Bank of America: 877-488-7814 (Available M-F 2 a.m. – 4 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time and Saturdays 3 a.m. – 2 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time)

Settlement Compensation Help

The Settlement Administrator has made payments to most eligible borrowers. The Office of Mortgage Settlement Oversight is not the Settlement Administrator and does not handle or oversee direct payments to consumers within the settlement. If you have questions about your eligibility or compensation under the settlement, please call the Settlement Administrator toll-free at 1-866-430-8358.

Scam Help

If you have been scammed by a foreclosure rescue operator or a debt relief organization, contact:
